Part Closure Notice

Seattle University will be airtight from Friday, April 15th through Mon, April 18th in ascertainment of Easter. We will resume our normal part hours on Tuesday, Apr 19th.

Spring Quarter 2022 Updates

Open Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:thirty pm (Remote on Fridays)

Each advisor has different days they will exist working in the role and remotely, which is noted by appointment type on their Bookings agenda.

We are only allowing one person per appointment. If you would like any guests with you (like parents/family members), you can book a virtual or phone appointment.

However, if yous take any specific accommodations (such as a translator or aide) and need to meet in-person, delight contact united states of america by e-mail, and so we can piece of work out how to best serve you.

About the ASAC

The Arts and Sciences Advising Eye (ASAC) is a centralized advising function that provides developmental academic advising and educational assistance to undergraduate and graduate students and faculty and staff in the Higher of Arts and Sciences. It is staffed by professional person academic advisors who are available on a drop-in basis and for scheduled appointments.

Mission

The ASAC is dedicated to the holistic academic and professional person germination of current and prospective students through academic advising and promotion of academic excellence. ASAC staff are defended to helping students place and celebrate their own educational and personal skills and abilities. ASAC staff work to solve problems, provide navigational guidance, and build connections for students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

Vision

ASAC staff aspire to:

  • Create an office where students tin can share their experiences and know that they are not alone.
  • Suit to the intersectional and changeable identities and needs of the different constituencies that nosotros serve.
  • Model accountability, honesty, and humility and teach students, kinesthesia, and staff how to effectively navigate Seattle University.
  • Create a community of care and a friendly environment.
  • Help students learn more than nearly themselves – personally, academically, and professionally – so that they tin can get the most out of their educational experience and are prepared for the residue of their lives.
  • Be innovative, creative, and at the frontier of best practices in academic advising.

I accept had a very positive experience working with my counselor and the other faculty in my majors. I truly wouldn't exist nearly as prepared for life subsequently higher if not for this advisor/these professors and the guidance they take given me.
